never looked back as it won the state championship in a game shortened to
7 innings due to the 10 run rule. Tim Scanlon went 4 for 4 with 4
rbi's, Scott Winters was 2 for 5 with 4 rbi's, & Matt Serna had 4 hits
and 2 rbi's for Arlington Heights. Caleb Rangel went 4 for 4 for
Rock Island.

| Arlington Heights rallied from a 7-1 deficit in
the 5th and a 2 run deficit in the 10th to hand Rock Island its first loss
of the tournament. Tim Churchill singled home the winning run with 2
out in the 10th, his 3rd hit and 3rd rbi of the game. Jason Ganek
was 3-5 with a homer and 4 rbi's. Noah Wethington of Rock Island was
5 for 5 with 4 rbi's.

7th and 8th to extend its season. Matt Lorenz got the win in relief,
holding Danville to 2 hits over 3 and 2/3 innings. Jason Ganek and
Matt Serna each drove in 2 runs for Arlington Heights. David
Worthington had 3 hits for Danville.

each. Rod Mueth had 2 hits & 2 rbi's for Belleville, which left
15 runners on base and was eliminated from the tournament.
